Texas A&M University-Kingsville recently celebrated a meaningful gift that will have a lasting impact on student success. Dr. Nick Adame, Alicia Gonzales, and Raul Vasquez joined University President Dr. Robert H. Vela and university leadership to establish the Aaron Adame Memorial Scholarship Endowment through the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Foundation.
This scholarship will support Javelina Relight students, helping those who paused their academic journey return and complete their degrees at TAMUK.
The endowment honors Aaron Adame, the son of Dr. Nick Adame, whose love for TAMUK was profound. Though he passed away in 2022, Aaron’s spirit of pride, perseverance, and dedication will continue to inspire future generations of Javelinas.
